KASS provides access to Housing Authority accommodation for a period of 12 months to single women (must be a permanent resident of Australia), with or without children, who are victims of domestic violence and, as a result, are either homeless or at imminent risk of homelessness.
KASS is designed to be culturally sensitive and hopes to build the capacity of individuals and families, providing them with the necessary tools to maintain tenancy independently.
The KASS program is a 12 month support program after which clients move on to periodic tenancy.
