Warlang Bidi – Supporting Women and Children is based in the Peel Region.
It’s WA’s first therapeutic women’s refuge and is tailored to provide specialist, person-centred response for women who are escaping FDV, presenting with or without children, who also have mental health concerns and or/harm from alcohol and other drugs.
Warlang Bidi Refuge provides safe and supported accommodation for women, with or without their children, who are at risk of harm associated with family and domestic violence.
This service provides safety and support post crisis of Family and Domestic Violence.
The refuge offers medium term supported accommodation. This service provides support to women and children with co-occurring mental health concerns and or harm from alcohol and other drugs viewed through a trauma informed lens.
This service provides therapeutic support through a trauma informed lens.
This service continues to support clients when they transition back into the community.
