Transitional housing is accessed by women who seek additional supports and/or have been unable to secure suitable supported, safe housing and/or affordable options post crisis accommodation stays.
Transitional housing gives women the opportunity to have continued support in safe affordable accommodation once exiting refuge accommodation.
A Support Coordinator continues to provide case management support. During this time women are supported and encouraged to engage in further education, gain employment and link in with necessary services to support their individual future goals, healing, and recovery. This includes support and assistance to continue attending ongoing groups, workshops and counselling, including our in-house services as Recovery Support, Future Employment Connections and Positive Pathways.
