The Safe at Home Perpetrator Response program is a support service to assist men to bring about positive behaviour changes in their lives to develop respectful relationships with their family members, partner, ex-partner, and children.
The Benefits of Safe at Home Perpetrator Response:
- Assistance to men to gain an understanding of their part in the cycle of violence and accepting responsibility for their use of abuse and/or violent behaviour;
- Information and referrals to services relevant to the individual’s needs;
- A collaborative approach to developing skills and plans that influence positive decision making and safer home environments.
This service offers an innovative consulting service to men’s behavioural change providers and the family and domestic violence sector. This service assists providers to place the safety and wellbeing of women and children at the core of their program response to perpetrators of violence
Referrals are made through the Family and Domestic Violence Coordinated Response Service (FDVCRS).
