Port Hedland Women’s Refuge offers a safe and supportive environment, including safety planning, case management, and connections to community support services, to help clients feel safe, supported, hopeful, and empowered to rebuild their lives.
In addition to refuge accommodation, the Port Hedland Women’s Refuge Outreach Program provides therapeutic support, wellbeing programs, and referrals to relevant services for women who are victim-survivors of domestic and family violence, assisting them on their journey toward safety and independence.
The service also provides education around domestic and family violence, helping women recognise abusive behaviours and access counselling and other supports to aid recovery and healing.
