DV-alert two day First Nations Foundations training- Perth

Lifeline WA and City of Perth invite you to attend free family and domestic violence training during the 16 Days in WA – Stop Violence Against Women campaign. Please join us to learn some valuable skills, network with other service providers and the local community, and to play a part in stopping violence against women and children. This two day workshop is for frontline workers to learn how to:

  • Recognise the signs of domestic violence,
  • Respond appropriately, and
  • Refer to support services relevant to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander communities.

It covers the nature and scope, patterns and impacts of family violence, what to consider for diverse groups, communication skills, safety planning, referral pathways and more. This workshop is catered, please include dietary requirements on registration. The DV-alert program is fully funded by The Department of Social Services, delivered by Lifeline and is offered completely free of charge. Thank you to City of Perth and ATI-Mirage for hosting this workshop.
