DV-alert one day Women with Disability training- Wembley

Lifeline WA and Active Foundation invite you to attend free family and domestic violence training during the 16 Days in WA – Stop Violence Against Women campaign and International Day of People with Disability. Please join us to learn some valuable skills, network with other service providers and the local community, and to play a part in stopping violence against women and children. This one day workshop is further training for frontline workers who have completed any two day DV-alert workshop. This workshop focuses on domestic and family violence occurrence in women with disability. Frontline workers will to learn how to:

  • Recognise the signs
  • Respond appropriately, and
  • Refer to support services relevant to women with disability

This workshop is catered, please include dietary requirements on registration. The DV-alert program is fully funded by The Department of Social Services, delivered by Lifeline and is offered completely free of charge.  Thank you to the Active Foundation for hosting this workshop.
