Service Details

This service is ran by the Djarindjin Aboriginal Corporation. It operates a safe house that provides a safe place for women and children who are victims of family and domestic violence in the three major communities of Djarindin, Ardyaloon and Beagle Bay.

The Safe House Program is a facility that has been provided to the community for women and children who are victims of Domestic Violence. The facility is much needed in the Dampier Peninsula and services the three major communities of Djarindin, Ardyaloon and Beagle Bay with a total population of 1000 people. The safe house is funded by the Federal Government and the organisation provides this program to give a safe place to those who are victims of violence. Three people are employed in this program.
