Women's Health Week is taking place 5-11 September 2022, with range of events and activities celebrating all things women's health happening at women's health services around WA.
Women’s Health Week 2022 is nearly here! Now in its tenth year, Women’s Health Week is a nation-wide campaign of events and activities led by Jean Hailes for Women’s Health. In previous years, there is a focus on an important women’s health topic on each day of the week. This year the health topics are:
- Day 1: Check me out – health checks at every age
- Day 2: Menopause matters – menopause and perimenopause
- Day 3: Pelvic power – pelvic floor health and pelvic pain
- Day 4: Mind health – mental wellbeing and brain health
- Day 5: Move and improve – physical activity and your health

Women's Health Week at CWSW
This year CWSW is focusing our Women’s Health Week efforts on highlighting the ‘why’ of women’s health – why is a focus on women’s health essential, why is women’s health week important, why do we need a community-based women’s health sector. Keep an eye on Facebook as we explore the importance of gender responsive healthcare, understanding the social determinates of health and recognising intersectionality, and the important role the community-based women’s health sector has in improving the health and wellbeing of women and the community.
