Expression of Interest – Lived Experience Advisory Group

The Centre for Women’s Safety and Wellbeing (CWSW) believes that responses to domestic and family violence will be most effective and safe if they are informed and developed in partnership with victim survivors. We also acknowledge that the specialist domestic and family violence sector has developed and been underpinned by the lived experience of victim survivors.

CWSW is committed to providing formal opportunities for survivor advocates to influence policy development, service planning and practice.

CWSW is the WA based peak body for family, domestic and sexual violence. We represent specialist women’s domestic and family violence services, community-based women’s health, and sexual assault services. We work alongside organisations and practitioners who provide specialist support services across these three sectors, and we advocate for systemic reform to improve women’s safety and justice, health and wellbeing.

Members of the Lived Experience Advisory Group will be remunerated for their time and will have the option of attending scheduled meetings online or in-person.

Please note this group is only open to women residing in Western Australia and women living within the Western Australian regions are strongly encouraged to apply.
