This service is a culturally secure 24/7 crisis service that provides safe, short-term accommodation for women and children who are homeless or at risk of becoming homeless due to family and domestic violence. All residents, including children, have access to support and specialised in-house services to help address their needs which include safety issues, advocacy, counselling, therapies, planning, future goals, training and skills enhancement.
Caring staff providing understand the impacts of violence and know that the main impact suffered is damage to their dignity.
