This service provides crisis accommodation, support and advocacy for women escaping domestic and family violence. Children with them are supported by our specialist Child Advocate.
Cultural, language and disability access needs are met to the best of our ability, with help from other agencies when required.
Harbour currently has seven fully furnished and equipped housing units which are available from time to time as medium-term crisis housing. Medium-term crisis housing is temporary housing that provides a structured living environment to support lone women or women with children who move from the Refuge’s crisis accommodation into the community.
The housing provides our clients with an opportunity to stabilise their circumstances before moving to longer-term housing.
