Service Details

This service has a Domestic Violence team that help overcome cycles of violence with care and respect, with the focus ‘Atunypa Wiru Minyma Uwankaraku’ (Good Protection for all women).
This service accepts referrals from women living on the MPY Lands (cross borders region of SA, NT and WA) who have experienced the impacts of intimate partner, family or other forms of lateral violence.
Using a holistic, Anangu led approach, we take a long-term view to transforming communities and understand violence occurs in a complex set of circumstances.
The counselling service also delivers a variety of community activities and programs that support conversations about safety, protection and care.
