Referrals / Suitability: This service accepts referrals from Police, Department of Justice, Department of Child Protection and Family Services and other local community services. Men can also self-refer. Following assessment interviews, men are assessed for their eligibility for the service. Further referrals are offered when men are assessed as not eligible. Referrals / Suitability: How Can Communicare Breathing Space be Accessed? Men can access our Communicare Breathing Space program via a self-referral. Our Communicare Breathing Space program can accommodate up to 33 men at a time so a wait list may apply. Communicare Breathing Space program is available to all men who have been abusive in their intimate partner or family relationship and is ready and willing to make long-term behavioural changes To make a referral, please contact us on 9439 5707 and a member of our team will be in touch shortly.
