Relationships Australia WA is proud to deliver Djinda Service to support women and children experiencing family and domestic violence. We are an Aboriginal service with personal and professional experience and understanding of family violence.
What is family violence?
Family violence is not just physical or sexual abuse. It also includes emotional, financial, social and cultural abuse. It can be from a current or former partner, or from a family member. It makes women feel afraid, can stop them doing things, like seeing family or friends, and hurts children.
How can we help?
We provide advocacy and support services to Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander women and children in the Perth metropolitan area who have experienced family violence and/or sexual assault. We also provide community education and information to raise awareness and as a way of preventing family violence.
How much will it cost?
We provide a free, confidential service.
